Marine Surveyors Qualifications: Degrees, certificates and additional marine training

My marine career started in 1972. I was trained at the Toronto Kiekhaefer Mercury Corporation facility.

Mercury Marine factory trained Mercruiser / Outboard Technician 1972 to 1975
Duties included Outboard motor and Mercruiser maintenance, wiring and complete installations, starting with a bare hull.


Algonquin College

I attended courses on business and mathematics for technicians.

Inter - Provincial Automotive Technician (Canada, 1978)
I attended many upgrade courses in wiring, electronics, air conditioning and refrigeration. Serviced Mercedes Benz, Fiat, Volkswagen and many years of general practice.

Graduate of Chapman School of Seamanship
Yacht and Small Craft Marine Surveyor training. Full Marine Survey technical / academic and practical courses.
